Eddie is a 37-year veteran of the Royal Navy, serving as a submariner for most of his career. He served on three diesel-electric submarines and on four Nuclear submarines, ending as a Chief Petty Officer. He finished his career in sea training as ST21 and shore training as Chief instructor of submarine Qualification school in Faslane.
